pCO sistema: air-conditioning software applications

Air-conditioning application programs play a primary role in the range of the Carel solutions. These programs, developed with the Carel EasyTools system, allow the programmable boards in the pCO sistema to operate using different logic according to the unit being controlled (air-conditioning units, roof-top units, chillers, shelters etc.). Being standard programs, and therefore designed for all manufacturers/installers, they perform the greatest number of functions so as to cover all the possibilities. Thanks to the pLAN connection, some programs feature the ability to use more than one board on the same unit to increase the number of I/O or to rotate a series of units. The pCO¹ , pCOˣˢ , pCO² , pCO³ and pCO⁵ boards feature the multi-language function and connection using an optional card to the (BMS, Modbus® and LONTM). The connection of the controllers into networks means that one single supervisory station can manage the parameters and information required to identify the status of the devices present and the processes being controlled. The data collected (temperature graphs, fault signals, service requests, etc.), which can be displayed by the user simply and quickly, are saved and can be made available to access the information saved via a remote connection, in order to analyse or check the correct operation of the system. They can consequently modify the control parameters, modify or force the operating modes, or directly manage any actuators. When required, it is the system itself that alerts the appropriate service centre.
