humiSonic for fan coil

Image
humiSonic , installed on fan coils, is the ideal solution for coupling accurate control of ambient humidity with common temperature controls (guaranteed by fan coils). The combination and accurate management of these two fundamental features of the air assures that comfortable conditions in the home or commercial environment can be reached and maintained. Energy Saving Ultrasound humidification is adiabatic, requires very low power consumption compared to steam solutions (40W to atomise 0.5 kg?h of water). This important feature makes humiSonic an "Energy Saving" solution in line with modern energy saving expectations. Easy installation and maintenance Thanks to the compactness of its design humiSonic is easy to install in new generation fan coils and at the same time can be retrofitted on existing units! The maintenance of humiSonic consists only in periodic replacement of the transducers (once a year) and, thanks to the ergonomic design, this does not have

pCO compact

Image
Compact programmable controller , just 6 DIN modules, high capacity in terms of connectivity and integrated functions. Compatible as regards, both the hardware and software with the pCO family ; consequently, it’s a versatile solution for all types of applications and requirements in the HVAC/R sector. There are two versions of pCO compact , which differ in terms in terms of the number and type of inputs/outputs, so as to best adapt to the needs of the application. Possibly to interface with the most commonly-used BMS communication protocols (BACnet , Modbus , LonWorks Modbas, Konnecx,…) by adding optional serial cards. pCO compact also has an integrated, optically-isolated Fieldbus RS485/tLan port. It also comes with two USB ports (host and device), used to upload and download the application program and data logs via pendrive or direct connection to PC. The build-in user interface has a white positive LCD, with 132x64 dot resolution, allowing a high degree of customis

1tool

Image
1tool is the development system for the Carel programmable control platform, consisting of six different environments in which the designer manages the application software in all its different stages: from design to simulation, to testing and debugging, to arrive at commissioning in the field. A fundamental feature of 1tool is integration. Because all the different environments are interconnected to best support development of the application software. Each environment is in fact dedicated to the realisation of a specific function and interacts with the others to offer the designer: -  Greater reliability thanks to real-time error notifications in the design stage; - Reduced development time using the advanced functions offered, first and foremost the new libraries of functional modules specific for HVAC/R; -  Flexibility in terms of software customisation. All these features, an intuitive graphic interface and user simplicity make 1tool an excellent product, responding to th

Air handling units: integrated solutions for energy savings

Image
The AHU applications are characterized by a great range of plant solutions with different integration levels. Carel, leader on the regulation in HVAC/R world, thanks to the ten-year experience on designing and producing electronic controllers , humidifiers and accessories, offers the most complete solution range for this application. The modular structure of the controllers, the different humidifiers available and the complete range of accessories let you set any kind of installation, which increasing integration leaves up to the complete supervision of the plant to reach the absolute reliability and the maximum energy saving. The system approach joins with the flexibility of the solutions, both hardware, i.e. architecture and components, and software, starting from the standard up to the complete customization of the application software thanks to 1tool programming tool. Flexibility : I/O chip technology means all the most common types of sensors can be read: the signa

Ultrasound humidifiers

Image
Ultrasound humidifiers feature a small water storage tank and piezoelectric transducers installed at the bottom of the tank. The surface of the transducer oscillates at a very high speed (1.65 million times per second), so as to prevent the water from moving (the water cannot keep up with the oscillations of the transducer) due to its mass inertia. As a consequence, a column of water is generated above the transducers. During the negative amplitude of the transducer, an instant vacuum is produced because the water cannot follow the very fast transducer movements. The cavity created allows the production of bubbles, which are pushed to the edge of the water column during the positive amplitude phase, where they collide. During this process, very fine particles of water are atomized on the edge of the column of water. Due to the sound waves, cross waves are produced directly underneath the surface of the water, in the center of which very small water droplets are separated thus g
