EVD evolution, Drive the power easily

Image
The EVD evolution series of controllers for electronic valves is the latest step in the development of the famous CAREL drivers for superheat control. Compared to the standard EVD, this instruments adds advanced functions and a new user interface that makes it even easier to use and configure. The new TWIN version can independently control two electronic expansion valves, and represents the ideal solution for two circuit units or different control function (i.e. superheat and hot gas bypass). A new graphic display and a simple programming procedure allow the controller to be started by selecting just 4 parameters:   - refrigerant used; - model of valve; - type of pressure probe; - application (chiller, display, cabinet, etc.), selected from the multiple choice menus. EVD evolution is complete with LEDs for controlling the main functions, and can house a removal LCD display for the configuration and monitoring of all the variable. EVD evolution can be connecte

E2V proportional electronic expansion valve

Image
Carel electronic expansion valves E2V with proportional modulation and excellent technical and functional characteristics, allow an efficient control of refrigeration and air-conditioning units , and consistent energy saving performance. The flow of refrigerant is modulated by nozzle coupled to a torpedo shaped aperture, measuring more than 15 mm long, over a wide operating range. The internal mechanism is fitted on a calibrated spring with ball bearings and guarantees a stable and reliable regulation reducing the risk of failures. E2V is completely manufactured using laser-welding techniques on high-quality materials (AISI 316L), as well as technopolymers. Carel has paid special attention to the smallest details in designing E2V to ensure very high reliability for operations up to 35 bars of differential pressure and up to 45 bars of absolute pressure. Other features include exclusive axial motion of the nozzle aperture and seal gasket in the closing position. By install

Wireless devices monitoring temperature, humidity, light and energy

Image
The Carel rTM monitoring system, is used to monitor temperature, humidity, light intensity and pulse counters from energy meters modules, in combination with Carel, supervisory systems or programmable controllers with special software. Benefits Ideal for retrofits on existing systems, being easy to install: -    No electrical connections required; -    Flexible layout in the event of structural modifications; -    Simple installation and maintenance; -    Existing controllers do not need to be replaced, as the system is completely independent and can be integrated into any installation; -    Simplifies monitoring of the installation (including over remote connections). In the event of alarms, operating status can be notified via SMS, email, FAX; -    Supervisory systems can be customised reports and data log files; Composition -    Battery or mains powered sensors for measuring the temperature of cabinets and cold rooms (°C). Available in versions with built-in sensors (BP) and

Carel’s control solutions

Image
Control solutions for chillers Standard application software for managing air/water or water/water chillers, with tandem scroll compressors, semi-hermetic compressors or screw compressors featuring continuous or staged capacity control. The maximum configuration includes 8 hermetic or semi-hermetic compressors, or 2 screw compressors for each unit, with a limit of 4 units. Based on the type of compressors, pCO¹ , pCO² , pCO³ or pCO⁵ can be used to create the best configuration. The condenser fans can also be managed, with stepped or modulating control, using the Carel FCS . As well as connection to the most commonly used BMS , SMS (text) messages can also be sent and received via a GSM modem to and from mobile phone devices. Control solutions for precision air-condensers: standard application software for managing air-conditioning units, either direct expansion or with water coils, including control of the condenser, a built-in or external humidifier and electronic expansion valve

pCO sistema: air-conditioning software applications

Image
Air-conditioning application programs play a primary role in the range of the Carel solutions. These programs, developed with the Carel EasyTools system, allow the programmable boards in the pCO sistema to operate using different logic according to the unit being controlled (air-conditioning units, roof-top units, chillers, shelters etc.). Being standard programs, and therefore designed for all manufacturers/installers, they perform the greatest number of functions so as to cover all the possibilities. Thanks to the pLAN connection, some programs feature the ability to use more than one board on the same unit to increase the number of I/O or to rotate a series of units. The pCO¹ , pCOˣˢ , pCO² , pCO³ and pCO⁵ boards feature the multi-language function and connection using an optional card to the (BMS, Modbus® and LONTM). Flexibility is further guaranteed by the possibility to use the same software on the different sizes of the boards. Advantages Modularity: with the pCO¹, pCO²,
