CAREL was asked to provide comfortable ambient air quality in the offices and customer areas of the HSBC in Dusseldorf (Germany). During winter time, the outdoor air is very dry and cold. Increasing internal temperature with a heating system decreases its relative humidity leading the air condition at a very low comfort level. Low air humidity levels cause dryness of the throat, nose and eyes, increasing the probability of falling ill and consequently having to take time off from work.
