The New 2 Way Characterised Control Valves

Belimo is now offering a convincing alternative to the heavyweight Globe valve actuator combinations: The extremely compact characterised control valves (CCV) with nominal diameters of DN 65...150 are up to three times lighter and lead to a reduction in operating costs.

More compact, lighter, better
The product range of the globally unique Belimo characterised control valves is being expanded further: New flange versions in nominal diameters of DN 65 up toDN 150 control even larger sized volumetric flows with the highest of precision. Their patented characterising disk ensures an equal-percentage valve characteristic curve. Thanks to the simplicity of their construction, the characterised control valves are pressure-compensated and therefore require no holding torque when in closed position. Furthermore, because they close air bubble tight, an energy saving of up to 40% can be achieved during operation.

Economical alternative
The new characterised control valves can be utilised with medium temperatures ranging from + 5°C to + 120°C, are up to three times lighter and require when motorised at least 50% less installation height as PN16 globe valves of the same nominal diameters.
This makes a positive impression, and not only with respect to installation costs: smaller, more inexpensive devices can be utilised in place of the large and costly actuators. As a rule, the payoff sets in just 1 ½ years.
